Art and objects
My 2025 New Year’s resolution was to focus my energy on people and projects I loved, and to get better at saying no. I also wanted to invest in learning something new, which led me to a pottery course.
I wanted to dedicate more time to express my creativity, both personally and professionally. This fall, I found myself back in the classroom, taking a course in areas that interest me, such as interior design and art.
And signing one more contract/collection.
And visiting museums and places that I love.
My everyday creative corner
My yearly creative corner at home, where I always start my workdays. Taking notes, going through emails, taking digital meetings, writing down ideas, and kickstarting the day. For me, art plays a central role here. A mood board of sketches and memories, colorful pencils, or shelves displaying books, magazines and meaningful personal objects that transform a functional office space into my source of daily inspiration.
| Chunky cable knit | My book of seasonal recipes | Hand cream ‘White Forest’ | Shearling-lined ballet flats | Leather pouch | Bookends | Decorative tin box | Pencil platter |
Work 2025
I am grateful for the year that has passed. How do I define success? For me, it’s about working in teams that bring me joy, where I know I can contribute in my own way. Success means growing and challenging myself. It also means giving voice to my inner thoughts, expressing my unique storytelling, and creating.
Creating a collection from scratch to campaign and final product involves a journey of design. It starts with sketching, selecting materials, and choosing cuts, all the way down to the details of buttons. Witnessing something evolve from an idea into reality is truly rewarding.
The podcast got a fresh look in 2025. It also became more dynamic, allowing us to meet a group of amazing women. I realized that I felt more comfortable asking questions than creating content about my own life. I’ve worked as a journalist for over 20 years, and interview formats have always been my passion.
In early 2024, I downloaded Substack and began sketching my logo for a “mini magazine.” I shared information about this platform with everyone who would listen and encouraged them to give it a try. It took me a whole year to conduct my research and finally post my first piece.
I chose to sign contracts with brands that I truly believe in, both in terms of the product and the team. Some of my partners have been collaborators for several years, while others are new additions to my network.
Part of my job involves helping companies with styling and content creation, and I absolutely love that aspect. I get the freedom to choose locations and craft a story and look, from Paris to Funäsdalen.

Till bords!
Setting a table for me is like painting and adding color to a blank canvas. Here’s how it looked throughout 2025, capturing the essence of each season and celebration.
Grateful for 2025
2025 was the year when I needed to make some new decisions about how to best allocate my working time. I chose not to renew certain contracts and declined others; energy drainers were not welcome. My intention and integrity were important to me.
”See you soon!”
Just in time for summer, I sent myself a postcard and shut down my social channels for a few weeks to regain my energy and think clearly. I was so incredibly tired of all the copy/paste.
I sailed with my family, enjoying the moments, reading, living fully, and landing in my choices.
I will continue to open my channels to uplift others. I love my “business book club,” where I can share and discuss thoughts as a small business owner and entrepreneur - something that can sometimes feel lonely.
I will keep taking photos, documenting, and sharing my experiences, while not taking everything too seriously. I aim to grow, stay curious about others, and play with food and word choices.
A friendly reminder.
Flowers for you
I give you a digital bouquet of flowers every week. The finest ones don’t come from fancy flower shops put together by florists, but from nature, in season, picked by me or my children.
Note to self - for 2026
